The juvenile Smilodon lived in North America at the end of the Ice Age, about 12,000 years ago. Smaller than the adult, it was recognizable by its already elongated fangs and powerful cat-like gait.
Interesting fact: Young Smilodons depended on their mother for a long time, who taught them how to hunt before joining the group.
The Young Smilodon Papo figurine subtly illustrates this young predator: realistic fur, lively attitude and developing fangs. An ideal model to complete a prehistoric collection and discover the fauna of the Pleistocene.
