The Megaloceros, also known as the "great ice deer," lived in Europe around 12,000 years ago, at the end of the Pleistocene. It could measure more than 2 meters at the shoulder and had impressive antlers that spanned nearly 4 meters.
Interestingly, its antlers were used for both defense and seduction. It lived on the great grassy plains alongside mammoths and bison.
The Papo Megaloceros figurine showcases the majesty of this iconic herbivore: spectacular antlers, detailed fur, and graceful appearance. An ideal model to complete a prehistoric collection and explore the era of extinct giants.
