Protoceratops is a small herbivorous dinosaur that lived in Asia about 80 million years ago, during the Late Cretaceous period. At 2 meters long, it is considered one of the ancestors of the larger ceratopsians.
Interestingly, it lived in groups and protected its eggs in communal nests. Spectacular fossils even show fights with velociraptors!
The Papo Protoceratops figurine finely illustrates this fascinating dinosaur: short frill, detailed skin and natural posture. An ideal model to complete a dinosaur collection and immerse yourself in the world of dinosaurs.
