Lemur and baby figurine

€8,50

Mischievous and agile, the lemur is one of Madagascar's iconic animals. Easily recognizable by its long, black-and-white ringed tail, it lives in groups in the forests and spends much of its time perched in the trees. Its bouncing gait and distinctive call make it a fascinating animal to observe.

The baby lemur, clinging to its mother's belly or back, gradually learns to climb and move among the branches. Surprisingly, unlike most primates, females often dominate lemur groups. They feed mainly on fruit, leaves, and sometimes insects, playing an important role in forest regeneration by dispersing seeds.

This Papo figurine lovingly and realistically recreates the lemur and her baby: finely detailed fur, ringed tail, and natural postures. An ideal model to complete a collection of wild animals, invent exotic stories, or educate children about the richness of Madagascar's fauna.
