Young African Elephant Figurine

Reference 50169

€6,70

Affectionate and playful, the young African elephant grows up in a close-knit herd led by an experienced female. At birth, it already weighs around 100 kilos, but remains entirely dependent on its mother and other adult elephants.

Over the months, he learns to use his trunk, clumsily at first, to grab twigs, drink, or spray himself with water and dust. Surprisingly, young elephants love to play with each other, chasing and pushing each other, an essential skill for developing their strength and sociability. Protected by the solidarity of the herd, he gradually acquires all the skills necessary to survive in the savannah.

This Papo figurine realistically reproduces the young African elephant: large ears, wrinkled skin, and a mischievous attitude. An ideal model to complete a collection of wild animals, invent stories in the heart of the savannah, or educate children about the protection of this growing giant.
