Graceful and swift, the impala is an iconic antelope of the African savannah. It is recognizable by its slender silhouette, golden-brown coat, and, in males, its elegantly curved, lyre-shaped horns.
A true athlete, it is capable of spectacular leaps of more than 3 meters high and 10 meters long to escape its predators. Surprisingly, when threatened, several impalas leap in all directions at once, a defensive strategy that disorients their pursuers. A herbivore, it feeds on grasses, leaves, and young shoots, taking advantage of the seasons to adapt its diet.
This Papo figurine faithfully reproduces the impala: finely sculpted horns, slender body and dynamic posture. An ideal model to complete a collection of wild animals, invent stories in the savannah or educate children about the diversity of African wildlife.
