Fawn Figurine

Reference 50219

€5,30

Touching and discreet, the fawn is the offspring of a deer and a doe. At birth, it has a light brown coat adorned with small white spots that allow it to camouflage itself in the tall grass of the forest. This juvenile coat gradually disappears as it grows.

During the first few weeks, the fawn remains motionless on the ground to escape predators, while its mother regularly returns to nurse it. Surprisingly, despite its apparent fragility, it is able to stand up and walk only a few hours after birth. Little by little, it gains strength and learns to follow the herd in the undergrowth.

This Papo figurine lovingly and realistically reproduces the fawn: spotted fur, large attentive ears and graceful appearance. An ideal model to complete a collection of forest animals, invent touching stories or to educate children about the discovery of wildlife.
