Cryolophosaurus is a carnivorous dinosaur discovered in Antarctica, where it lived about 190 million years ago, during the Early Jurassic period. It measured up to 6 meters long and is distinguished by its comb-like crest on its head.
Interestingly, despite the icy conditions of its region, it lived in a more temperate environment at the time. Its unique crest was likely used to attract mates or identify members of its own species.
