Clownfish Figurine

€8,50

With its orange and white bands outlined in black, the clownfish is arguably one of the most well-known tropical fish. It is found in the warm coral reefs of the Indian and Pacific Oceans, where it lives in close association with sea anemones.

An astonishing fact: Clownfish and anemonefish share a unique relationship called symbiosis. Protected by the anemone's venom, to which it is immune, the clownfish finds refuge from predators, while cleaning and feeding the anemone in return. Another interesting fact: all clownfish are born male, but some can change sex during their lives to become females and ensure the survival of the group.

This Papo figurine faithfully recreates the clownfish: vibrant colors, detailed fins, and realistic silhouette. An ideal model to enrich a collection of marine animals, invent colorful stories in the reefs or educate children about the richness of underwater biodiversity.
