Tigress and her baby figurine

Reference 50118

€9,95

Protective and attentive, the tigress watches over her cub tirelessly. In the wild, she raises her cubs alone, hiding them in safe havens and nursing them for several weeks before teaching them how to hunt. Young tiger cubs stay with their mother until they are two years old, patiently learning all the skills necessary for their survival.

The tigress is also a formidable hunter: she attacks prey alone, sometimes much larger than her, thanks to her strength and stealth. Surprisingly, the stripes of a tigress, like those of her cub, are unique to each individual and allow them to be identified, a bit like fingerprints in humans.

This Papo figurine tenderly and realistically illustrates the bond between a mother and her baby: finely sculpted tabby fur, natural attitudes and obvious complicity. An ideal model to complete a collection of wild animals, invent moving stories or raise children's awareness of the lives of endangered big cats.
