English Royal Guard

The Welsh Guards are one of five infantry regiments in the Royal Foot Guards of the British Army. The Coldstream Guards, recognizable by the red plume on the right side of their hat, are the oldest continuously serving regiment in the British Army. While well known for their high-level ceremonial duties, they are primarily an infantry unit.
