Piranha Figure

Reference 50253

Famous for its sharp teeth, the piranha is one of the most feared fish in South American rivers. It lives primarily in the Amazon basin, where it sometimes grows in large schools.

Its impressive jaws are equipped with triangular teeth capable of slicing with great efficiency. However, despite its reputation as a ferocious predator, the piranha is actually an omnivorous fish: it feeds on fish as well as fruit or seeds that have fallen into the water. Surprisingly, some schools of piranhas serve as collective protection, as their numbers discourage attacks from larger predators.

This Papo figurine realistically reproduces the piranha: stocky body, detailed fins and formidable teeth. An ideal model to enrich a collection of wild animals, invent adventures in the heart of the Amazon or educate children about the diversity of the aquatic world.
